Five Steps for Effective Stress Management:

Use some type of relaxation technique or coping strategy for relief of stress eg meditation, deep breathing, exercise. |

Seek solutions for avoiding or controlling the stress in your life eg ensure a work/ life balance that suits your lifestyle. |

Be physically active, eat a healthy diet and get enough rest. |

Change your way of thinking eg Negative thoughts can create unnecessary stress. Avoid overgeneralising, discounting the positives and blaming. |
